Safe Travel for Your Precious Pet

It’s no secret that to many pet owners, their furry little friends are much more than an animal, they are family just as much as any other member, maybe even more than your weird uncle. The old saying about dogs being our best friends applies to cats, birds, lizards, and any other creatures we love and live with. Our pets can be relied on to stick with us through thick and thin, their love is unconditional, although they do seem to appreciate us the most when we bring their dinner to them!

Sometimes it becomes a necessity in the course of our human affairs, to travel. Our absence is always hard on our pets, even though it’s just temporary. Ideally, a trusted friend or relative can be asked to play pet sitter and stay over as your surrogate, at least giving your pet the comfort of being in their familiar home with a friendly human to keep them company. More infrequently there comes a time when we need to pick everything up and go, our pets included! One of the more stressful scenarios is when you have to travel overseas, but it doesn’t have to be so if you arrange pet air transport with a professional service! Don’t leave your precious pet in the hands of busy airline and immigration staff, make sure they have a friend to advocate for them, a dedicated expert who will guide the journey of moving pets from UK to Singapore ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being from start to finish. You and your pet will be glad you did!

Now, before you call the pet transport team there are some things you will need to do first to prepare you and your pet for the trip.

Vaccinations and Medical Certificates – Most countries require proof that your pet is up to date on their shots and is not carrying any transmittable diseases, like rabies. Visit your veterinarian well in advance for a thorough checkup to make sure your pet is healthy and fit for travel, and to acquire the necessary records. Make multiple copies of everything so you will have a backup to those that accompany your pet on the journey.

Identification – A collar with tags bearing critical information like your address and smartphone at home and abroad is an absolute must.

Our best wishes for your travels, have fun and stay safe!
