We are officially less than a week away from the brackets being released for the 2023 NCAA Tournament. It is never too early to bet on the future National Champions, and now would be a perfect time to do so. The Final Four this season and also the National Championship Game will be played at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, home of the Houston Texans in the NFL.

Team Odds to Win the 2023 NCAA Tournament

There have been a ton of upsets in college basketball this year, and it appears as if no one is going to be safe once the temperatures heat up on the floor. The March Madness odds are out for the upcoming tournament, and there are also odds out for conference tournaments. Who are some of the betting favorites to win it all this year?

Houston Cougars +650

Houston currently has the best betting odds on BETUS to win it all this season. It would be a massive home court advantage if they were able to get to the Final Four this season because of it being in Houston, Texas. They are a very good defensive team and make the right plays at the right time. The Houston Cougars cruised through the regular season in the American Athletic Conference.

They are currently ranked number one in the country, but they may not be the number one overall seed because of the weak schedule they had during the regular season. If they finished undefeated instead of having two losses, it probably would have been a different ball game for them.

However, Kelvin Sampson’s squad was just in the Final Four two years ago. They are looking to cut down the nets for real this time.

Kansas Jayhawks +800

Kansas has the second-best odds of winning the NCAA Tournament this season. They won it all a season ago against the North Carolina Tar Heels. A repeat champion hasn’t happened since the 2006-2007 Florida Gators, and a repeat champion hasn’t gotten to the Sweet 16 in quite some time. Yes, they are a talented bunch, and Bill Self is a fantastic head coach, but is it worth betting on a team that hasn’t been to the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament as a defending champ in quite some time?

It remains to be seen, but it feels like this Jayhawks team is different. It feels like they are more than prepared to do so because the BIG12 Conference is the best conference in all of college basketball, and teams are getting beat up every single night. The competition may feel a little easier for them outside of the conference when the time comes in the NCAA Tournament.

The Texas Longhorns, the Iowa State Cyclones, and the Kansas State Wildcats have prepared them for this moment. Also, the Kansas Jayhawks know what’s at stake at this time of year.

Alabama Crimson Tide +850

For the third betting favorite on BETUS Sportsbooks to win the title this year in March Madness, it is Alabama out of the SEC Conference. There has been a lot of drama surrounding them as of late and also a lot of bad PR. The Crimson Tide could potentially be the first number one seed to fall if they are given up one seed. Alabama is well-coached by Nate Oats, and this is their best season ever.

The SEC conference is very underrated in college basketball, and they actually don’t get enough respect. However, this is a team you may want to stay away from in March rather than betting on them to win it all.

UCLA Bruins +900

The UCLA Bruins are the fourth-highest betting favorite to win it all this year. UCLA was also just in the Final Four two years ago and reached the Sweet 16 last year. The Bruins have been consistent for the most part under head coach Mick Cronin. He is one of the best coaches in college basketball and doesn’t get appreciated enough for what he does.

They are the best in the PAC-12 and can very well be a one-seed, if not a number two seed. If they are a two-seed, they have a great shot to be the first number two seed to win it all since the Villanova Wildcats did it in 2016 when they took down the North Carolina Tar Heels.
